Well the game was a 1-1 draw and Argyle fans outnumbered Torquay fans. The game was played at a slowish pace with neither team really creating any chances to test each keeper, although Larrieu did make one outstanding point blank save.
Argyle took the lead in the last 10 minutes of the half when Evans found Capaldi on the left, the winger had time to look up and crash the ball past the Torquay keeper.
Torquay's equaliser came from the spot when Doumbe was seen to handle the ball(after a blatant push on him)..Up stepped Constantine to send McCormick the wrong way.
Good bdebuts by Barness in particular, West looked good too, Brevett hmm still undecided and of course the best of the signings Akos Buzsacky.
Not a bad game in the sunshine, nice bar under the main stand..good stuff really..
